Our Services
Battery Storage
Battery storage technology has seen rapid improvements in recent years, delivering higher storage capacity at less cost.
A battery storage installation provides a business with more control over its energy usage, allowing electricity to be stored on-site.
How We Can Help
We offer a range of battery storage solutions suitable for a range of businesses. Battery storage offers savings on your overall energy bills by charging either during periods of low tariffs or from your own, on-site generation, allowing you to later use the energy during periods of higher demand or peak tariffs.
Our range of purchase, leasing & fully-funded solutions ensures a flexible approach to your project that meets the needs of your business.
Solar Panels
Solar photovoltaics have seen dramatic reductions in cost in recent years, providing a significantly improved payback for businesses, particularly with the recent dramatic rises of electricity costs across the UK and Europe.
Once installed, Solar PV will provide you with free, clean energy, for many years. Your renewable energy is valuable to the UK grid and any of the energy you export can be sold to energy companies.
How We Can Help
We deliver industry-leading quality across the equipment and services we provide.
Our solar PV solutions transform unused roof space into a valuable asset for your business.
We are also able to offer a variety of funding solutions, including fully funded projects that allow you to secure the benefits of solar power at no cost to your business.
EV Charging
Clique Energy can provide an extensive range of workplace EV charging solutions for your business premises. Our EV solutions allow you to take advantage of the Government run Workplace Charging Scheme (WCS). This can cover upto £14,000 of the costs of your EV works including the charge points and installation. We can offer you a full turnkey solution from initial consultancy and planning, local network liaising, project design, installation and commissioning. Through each stage of the process you’ll have a dedicated account manager guiding you through to handover. After care will be provided to ensure your charge points meet the needs of all your users.
How We Can Help
Our team of expert consultants ensure that your EV charging project is delivered to the highest of professional standards, providing your business with charging facilities that fit seamlessly into your existing electricity infrastructure.
We also ensure that your project delivers the maximum possible benefit to you in terms of tax breaks and other incentives available for electric vehicles.
Energy Management Techniques
Metering, Monitoring, Targeting & Control are energy management techniques that can generate significant results for businesses of any size. By better understanding your overall energy usage, you can better identify opportunities to reduce your overall usage and eliminate waste.
The Energy Market is now headlong in a disruptive transformational change, where new digital smart energy technologies and new emerging market entrants are challenging the traditional relationship between that of the customer, the supplier and the distributors of energy. This is leading to new opportunities for customers to access new services and connected technologies where they will have the capability to control when and how they consume, store and export energy. By gaining a better understanding of energy use, businesses of all sizes can save money, improve operational performance and become more resilient.
How We Can Help
Clique Energy is responding to this energy market transformation and providing industrial and commercial clients future ready 4G IOT energy management and remote control technologies. Clique recognises that the digitisation of energy is the core market accelerator for real time two-way digital communication and asset controllability where customers, network operators and energy suppliers need to respond in real time to changes in energy supply, export, demand and price sensitivity.
LED Lighting
LED lighting offers a low-energy alternative to ordinary light fittings, delivering a significant positive impact on your profits as well as reducing your overall carbon footprint. Using at least 75% less energy and lasting around 25 times longer than traditional incandescent lighting, LED lighting also offers savings by reducing the need for maintenance, repairs and replacements.
How We Can Help
LED lighting is one of the most high-impact energy efficiency measures available to businesses, offering major reductions in energy usage and rapidly providing payback on initial investment.
Our LED solutions use around 90% less energy than traditional bulbs and deliver guaranteed savings as well as reduced maintenance costs. We are also able to offer a range of funding solutions to suit businesses of varying sizes and budgets.
Energy Consulting
Project management and maintenance services ensure that your chosen energy solution is delivered on-time, on-budget and continues to deliver the best possible return throughout its working lifespan.
How We Can Help
When we deliver one of our technology solutions to a client, we take great pride in handling the entire process from conception through to finished product. Our team manage the process from initial planning, building, integration into existing infrastructure through to aftercare and monitoring.
We also provide a range of operation and maintenance support services, whether you have an existing energy efficiency solution that you want to ensure continues to deliver the highest possible levels of performance, through to a new installation with quality aftercare and support to deliver the maximum possible return on your investment.
Power Factor Correction
With the rising cost of energy and the recent introduction of DCP 161, the management and quality of power on site is essential to ensure high operational performance. Power factors below 1.0 require a utility to generate more than the minimum volt-amperes necessary to supply the real power (watts). This increases generation and transmission costs and are reclaimed through ‘reactive charges’ on your monthly electricity invoice. A low Power Factor can also adversely affect your sites allocated supply capacity resulting in significant penalty charges through Ofgem’s DCP 161 Default Excess Available Capacity Charges introduced in April 2018.
How We Can Help
In an electric power system, a load with a low power factor draws more current than a load with a high power factor for the same amount of useful power transferred. The higher currents increase the energy lost in the distribution system, and require larger wires and other equipment. Because of the costs of larger equipment and wasted energy, electrical utilities will usually charge a higher cost to industrial or commercial customers where there is a low power factor. As an example if the load power factor on a site is 0.7, the apparent power would be 1.4 times the real power used by the load. This extra power required will cost you in kWh charges, reactive charges and can also increase your allocated site supply unnecessarily which will incur the DCP 161 charges.
Linear loads with low power factor, such as induction motors, can be corrected with a passive network of capacitors or inductors. Once installed Power Factor Correction equipment will provide your site with improved Power Quality which will reduce your operational overheads.
If you are seeing reactive charges on your electricity invoices or exceeding your allocated supply capacity contact our office and we will be happy to advise and assist you.
Voltage Optimisation
Voltage optimisation is an energy saving technology that regulates, cleans and conditions the voltage entering your site, delivering a higher quality of electricity at a lower voltage to your appliances. The reduced voltage will also reduce the volume of electricity your site consumes which in turn will reduce your operating costs and carbon emissions.
How We Can Help
Our voltage optimisation solutions are delivered in partnership with leading technology providers, offering significant returns on investment that can be guaranteed at the start of the project. Voltage optimisation generally requires relatively low levels of initial investment and offer rapid payback compared to other technology options.
