Solar panels

Installing solar panels significantly reduces monthly electricity bills and dependence on the power grid. This energy independence protects against rising electricity costs and volatile fuel prices. With analysts forecasting continued increases in electricity rates, solar remains a cost-effective solution and long-term investment in the future.

Our commercial solar panel installations are designed specifically for businesses with high energy demands. Whether you’re running heavy machinery, operating 24/7 lighting, or managing complex systems across multiple units, our tailored solar systems are engineered to deliver performance, reliability, and long-term savings.

We assess each client’s site individually and design systems that maximise generation across large rooftop areas. Installation is handled by our qualified in-house team, and every project includes full monitoring, system checks, and support.

Battery storage

Battery storage systems allow your business to store unused solar energy and use it when you need it most – during peak tariff times, in the evening, or even during power outages.

We install commercial-grade storage systems that are fully integrated with your solar setup. This boosts your energy independence and drives even greater returns on your investment.

Use your own power, avoid rising energy prices, and keep your operations running smoothly – even during supply interruptions. Battery Storage services include:

EV charging

Clique Energy offers a comprehensive range of workplace EV charging solutions, helping businesses accommodate staff, customers, visitors, and commercial vehicles. Installing EV chargers enhances your business’s convenience and sustainability while supporting the growing shift to electric vehicles.

Our solutions also allow you to take advantage of the government-run Workplace Charging Scheme (WCS), which can cover up to £14,000 of your installation costs. We provide a full turnkey service, including consultancy, planning, network liaising, project design, installation, and commissioning—all managed by a dedicated account manager.

With expert aftercare and seamless integration into your existing electrical infrastructure, we ensure your EV charging facilities are reliable, efficient, and future-proof.

We also ensure that your project delivers the maximum possible benefit to you in terms of tax breaks and other incentives available for electric vehicles.

LED lighting

Upgrading to LED lighting is one of the most effective ways to reduce energy consumption and lower operating costs for your commercial business. LED solutions use up to 90% less energy than traditional light fittings, significantly cutting electricity bills while reducing your carbon footprint. Plus, with a lifespan of up to 50,000 hours, LEDs last 10 times longer, minimising maintenance, repairs, and replacements.

At Clique Energy, we provide high-performance LED lighting solutions tailored to commercial spaces, ensuring maximum efficiency and cost savings. We also offer a range of flexible funding options to make upgrading your lighting easy and affordable.

Why Switch to LED?

Energy consulting

At Clique Energy, we provide comprehensive project management and maintenance services to ensure your commercial energy solution is delivered on time, within budget, and continues to perform at its best throughout its lifespan. From initial planning and installation to ongoing maintenance, we manage every step of the process to guarantee your investment delivers maximum returns.

Whether you’re upgrading an existing energy solution or installing a new one, our team provides the expertise to optimise performance and ensure your energy system continues to meet your needs efficiently.

Voltage optimisation

Voltage optimisation is an advanced energy-saving technology that regulates and conditions the voltage entering your business, providing higher quality power at a lower voltage. By reducing the voltage, your business will consume less energy, leading to lower operating costs and reduced carbon emissions.

Our voltage optimisation solutions are delivered in partnership with leading technology providers, offering guaranteed returns on investment from the outset. With relatively low initial investment and rapid payback, voltage optimisation is a highly cost-effective solution for improving energy efficiency.

Key Benefits:

Energy management

Metering, monitoring, targeting, and control are key energy management techniques that help businesses of all sizes optimise energy use, reduce waste, and cut costs. By gaining insights into your energy consumption, we can identify areas to reduce your usage and enhance efficiency.

As the energy market undergoes a major transformation, new digital smart technologies and emerging market entrants are reshaping how businesses interact with energy suppliers and distributors. This evolution opens new opportunities for businesses to gain control over how and when they consume, store, and export energy. With enhanced energy management, companies can save money, increase performance, and become more resilient to market changes.

At Clique Energy, we offer future-ready 4G IoT energy management and remote control technologies to help businesses stay ahead in this changing landscape. Our solutions enable real-time two-way communication between customers, network operators, and energy suppliers, ensuring your business can respond swiftly to shifts in energy demand, supply, and price.

Key Benefits:

Power efficiency

With rising energy costs and the introduction of DCP 161, managing the quality of your on-site power is crucial to maintaining high operational performance. A power factor below 1.0 forces utilities to generate more energy than necessary, leading to increased generation and transmission costs. These costs are passed on through reactive charges on your electricity bill. Additionally, a low power factor can increase your site’s allocated supply capacity, resulting in significant penalty charges under Ofgem’s DCP 161 Default Excess Available Capacity Charges (introduced in April 2018).

A low power factor means your site draws more current than necessary, increasing energy loss and requiring larger, more expensive equipment. This inefficiency can lead to higher energy costs and unnecessary infrastructure upgrades. For example, if your site’s load power factor is 0.7, the apparent power used would be 1.4 times the real power, resulting in additional charges for kWh, reactive energy, and excess supply capacity.

By implementing Power Factor Correction (PFC) equipment, you can improve power quality, reduce operational overheads, and optimise energy use. Our PFC solutions help businesses achieve a higher power factor and avoid costly penalties while improving the efficiency of their energy consumption.
